Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I love the soup and cold appetizer a lot. Lovely presentation. Lime chicken is good. The meal is $1200 per person, waiting list till 2027."
"Excellent food, excellent service. One servant per table, with the owner’s detail explanation of each dish including the cooking method, ingredients, nutrition value, and eating procedure. The explanation helps to understand where the taste comes from and the astonishing combination with the sources. We even met the chef during the dinner too."
"Everything was excellently good! Staff is wonderful. 1000% recommended. Though you might have to wait patiently to get a table, 2 years waiting list"
"Quality food, pretty food presentation with clever way of food order and heartwarming service, it is not a lie when you are told the booking of this husband and wife running resto is fulled till 2027! Please keep the good work as HK needs more dining experience like there!"
"Think im a bit biased because theyre cooking every single dish i like using my favourite ingredients. Apparently this store was opened by a husband and a wife! I would definitely order the abalone, the fish maw and the fish!"
"Some of the dishes are really surprisingly tasty And quite unique"
"Visited for the first time last Thursday. This married couple joint operation ran smoothly. They had had most of the dishes well prepared in advance, which allowed the chef husband some free time to chat with customers. They priced their menu very reasonable. No wonder their bookings are full for the next eight months."
"Great food and cozy place for gatherings with friends. The way they cooked/presented the fish maw is very unique and I don’t think you’ll get to try this somewhere else in Hong Kong. The steamed egg topped with crab roe from 24 crabs was also one of the highlights. If you haven’t been to this place, definitely give it a try. I wouldn’t think this place is worth a two-year wait, but they sometimes release last minute bookings from other customers’ cancellation."
